Since 1996 the vast majority of the Trust's services have been based at the Royal Bolton Hospital in Farnworth, in the South West of the Bolton Borough. This is a district general hospital with 763 inpatient beds and 37 daycase/endoscopy beds. Services range from maternity to accident and emergency, surgery and rehabilitation.
